Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 2026
Maui Whale Watching Cruise is reader-supported. When you book a tour or a hotel through a link on this site, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price as you would going to the platform directly.
Who pays us
- Viator: tour links to viator.com carry our partner ID. If you book within the platform’s referral window, Viator pays us a commission on the booking.
- GetYourGuide: tour links and the availability boxes on our pages carry our GetYourGuide partner ID, and GetYourGuide pays us a commission on bookings made through them.
- Stay22: hotel links on the site run through Stay22, which sends you to a hotel booking site and pays us a share of the commission if you book a stay.
The commission comes out of the platform’s revenue. It is never added to your price, and we never see your payment details.
How we mark paid links
Links to Viator, GetYourGuide and hotel booking sites are affiliate links and are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code. A short disclosure also appears near the booking box and before our first recommendation on each page.
What commissions do not change
Commissions do not decide which tours we recommend or in what order. We compare whale watches on departure point, boat type, group size, verified listing data, reviews, season window and restrictions, and we include reasons to skip a tour as well as to book it. Read more on our about page.
This disclosure follows the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements, which asks sites to make paid relationships clear.
